AstraZeneca PLC is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with the US Food and Drug Administration to resolve the allegations in connection with the sale of generic drug Viagra (Sildenafil) to various drug stores.
The FDA approved the generic version of sildenafil, Viagra, which treats erectile dysfunction. It was the first drug to receive approval for use in the United States. This agreement allows for the availability of generic versions of sildenafil and allows for the approval of Viagra to be sold on the internet.
